Pretty sure thats real similar or the same as I put in my jeep. It is EXTERNALLY regulated. you will need to buy a regulator or it will cook you battery. Pushed 18.9 volts plus at idle... get a one wire alternator, they are similarly priced with internal regulator

Timgr posted this in the above link its so good

Probably, but I am not a restoration or "correct" guy. I just make things work. Sometimes..R) If you're really interested I can send you one to rebuild off one of my parts motors. I will never use it.

Here is a listing with the specs for that alternator you're looking at

Pm me a price shipped to 07480. I will have to find a place to rebuild it and what the cost is. This is turning into one of those parts that I took for granted i can just buy. 3 auto parts stores and an hr online says different

Guys, gentle reminder to keep business deals via pm, e-mail, or in the classifieds and not in Tech...

#1 goes to the idiot light #2 goes to battery hot all the time. Some guys just make a short jumper from #2 down to the BAT terminal on the back of the alternator. The BAT terminal is the one with the heavy red wire that goes to the battery +.
