Hello everyone, I have limited posts, but read a lot here. I have been reading through everything I can find on carbs for the Buick v6 motors. I am able to find lot's of carbs with numbers that put them to a 231 buick v6. Which helps with the set up in my jeep. However, my ol' man has his 225 oddfire that we are wanting to get a more correct carb on for the size of the motor (Currently has a rochester numbered for chevy v8).
So my question: Will a Rochester carb that the number puts it for a buick 231, work as it should on a 225?
If specific numbers are needed, I can get them.
And please forgive me if this seems painfully easy to answer. I tend to over-think the odd-fire/even-fire stuff. Just want things to run really well! Thanks all!

I'm pretty sure all the 231's used the larger bolt pattern version of the Rochester 2bbl, while the 225 used the small version.
    You'd have to use a 231 intake.

Thanks for the info. I'll do some measuring on that one!
