Exhaust Re Installation

    I have my pile of parts from the back of the jeep. I have new exhaust gaskets. Please correct any error in my beliefs. The exhaust manifold to head bolts are 18lbs, metal side out on the gasket, the heat riser goes on the passenger side, and there is no donut in the system, just metal to metal (per the local muffler shop). It looks like the heat riser should have a gasket but i haven't been able to find one so maybe it doesn't. Thanks.

    Has to be a V-6, there is no heat-riser on the F-head.
