I have 3 of the 5 pin varity, coming as they are rated at 19amps

 

I guess so, it is the stock motor, although it has been replaced once, about 24 yrs ago.

 

Chugging along on the winch mount. Rear bracket and pto shaft to go.

 

I really want to see horse shoes around the fairlead or incorporated in somewhere.

 

Blew a boom lift tire back on the bead with starting fluid and aired it up with my ARB compressor.

 

We'll start off with this, ... does anyone recognize what this is from?


Next, in 99 I put new fenders on the Jeep, I couldn't afford the replacements with the indent my year had. So I cut it out and tacked it into the new fender. ..... looks like I need to do it again.







BTW I think that fuse box above is going in the Jeep, ... pass side fender.

 

Installed one piece crank case vent hose.

 

That is SO clean, ..... I miss mine looking close to that ..... But it's so much work to keep it that way

I took apart the old leaf springs from my 56 tonight to start mocking up some yard art

 

Yep, taking out the lunch box and putting in an Eaton E locker.

 

I just got my front springs back under mine yesterday. Now if only someone didn't cut two u-bolts off.

 

I cut all 4 U bolts on mine.
Went to a local spring shop and got 4 new ones yesterday....they offered me a job while I was there

 

I have been pulling spare parts off the shelves and have assembled a cj-5,going to make a good project for someone...it will be good to see it go to a good home.....any interest PM me...

 

Ok these bolts were for about a quarter inch larger axle and were larger thread so I hammered em home. Saginaw is coming together looks like it needs to live a bit farther from the rail than most to keep the Pitman arm out of the springs.

 

Everything is welded up. New coat of shake n shoot drying on everything. Bolt it all up tomorrow and work on the shaft. Pretty sure its a straight shot.
