ok so I read the f134 upgrade fact but the sight listed as to where to get the headers doesn't seem to have a damn thing for an f134. Anyone put headers on theirs lately, where did you get them. How much did they run and so forth.

Clifford is the only place I know of that would have such a beast unless you build your own.

I called Clifford about a year ago. They had a set on the shelf they'd sell me for $249.00. IIRC . I got one in a parts swap about 6 mos ago, haven't put it on yet.Need to sandblast and paint it. They are out there, I've seen 'en on Ebay.

Keep in mind.you dont want to overdue the free flowing exhaust idea on an Fhead....it needs some back pressure........

I went with 2" exhaust systems and stock manifolds. Seemed to run a bit better.

Glenn I have a 60 with an F-134 . How much did your 2 inch exhaust cost and what type of muffler did you use?

Seems like I paid around $150, bent like I wanted it, aluminized pipe. Told them I wanted the quietest muffler they had, didn't want any kind of turbo deal. Oval I guess you'd say, definitely not round. Had both CJs done the same.

If you look close at my Avatar you can actually see where the mufflers at, under the driver floor, outside the frame. The picture is reversed, so that's not the passenger side it's the drivers' side.

Thanks, been kicking around the idea of a clifford header and new exhaust. I think I will stay stock with manifold and go with a little bigger exhaust like you did.
