I Have What I Think Is A 225 But I Can't Find Any Numbers On It In The Stated Places. I Was Told That It Might Be A Marine Motor? It Looks Like All The Pictures Of A 225 But I Can't Find Any Thing That Will Tell Me For Sure. I Was Looking To Rebuild The Motor But I Don't Want To Take It Out Till I Get The Actuall Info For The Motor. Any One Know Any Place In The Virginia Beach Area That Does Good Motor Work Thanks

Even fires are typically on the driver's side of the block toward the trans under the head. Should start with 255xxxxx. Post what you find.

That sounds like fuel pouring down the intake. Carb out of adjustment or stuck
