    That would make sense for the draglink to go on the backside of the tie rod. Doesn’t leave a whole lot of room for error as there isn’t a bunch of space between the diff cover and tie rod.

    That was my concern too. At full lock, the tie rod by itself doesn't have much room to spare at the diff cover. .
