What is the best process you folks use when stripping and repainting steel wheels on an early jeep?

I sandblasted & painted with single stage polyurethane. Seems to be holding up well.

Sandblasted. Painted with Rustoleum rattle cans. Still fine after ten-plus years.

Sand blast and 2 part epoxy prime, then single stage paint, or sandblast and powdercoat.

Sandblast and then prime with a 2K primer and then paint with either Raptor Liner, thinned out, to lay flat or paint over primer with Eastwood rust encapsulating black.

I did the same. Easy enough to sand out a scratch and repaint.

Sand blast followed by powder coating.
