Can you use those to retain the 5x5 1/2 bolt pattern???? Or does that change it to a 6 bolt.

Make sure to get the thicker of the two rotors available. The ones you need are the 1-1/8" thick ones from a '77-'78 CJ-5. Different parts books have the cutover date different for when they went to the thinner 7/8" rotors, so be sure to measure them before you leave the store! ;)

KRAGE shows the correct rotors for $42.95 each, but you will need to pay shipping on top of that, of course. Rock Auto shows the correct calipers from a '76 Chevy K10 pickup for only $26.11 including the core charge of $15 each. That's an incredible $11.11 per caliper guys. They even show the loaded caliper set (includes pads) for $46.79 including the core charge!

If you have a local U-pull-it or can otherwise find some calipers off a junked GM 1/2-ton pickup, you can use them for cores and save some bucks. My FLAPS wanted to charge me $15 bux each for not having cores to turn in.

<edit> I forgot to mention the addititonal 5% discount that Bucont posted over in the buyer comments section:

    http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12814

That brings the caliper price to $10.55 each.

    BSEG :D

You retain the 5 on 5 1/2" hub.

Are there certain years that you can use the caliper brackets from or does any year chevy 1/2 brackets work?

I've always been told to use pre-'78 caliper mounts. Not sure why, but they are readily available and reasonably priced. YMMV.

Where are the 76-78 brackets readily available? I have been looking for a set for some time without success. Has anyone used the Warn caliper brackets \ref{moses ludel cj rebuild book}?
