Woes of the distributor.... :?

Hello there to all you wonderful jeep lovers out there. Good to see a site so specific to our hobbiest. My question is......I replaced the distributor on an inline 6 258c on my 77 cj5. The timing was messed up when the nut that holds the distributor came loose. :twisted: I tried reading the instructions in the hanes manual for removal and installation but was unsuccessful in getting the timing correct. I could sure use some help on this one. Anyone know where to start on getting the distibutor lined back up correctly and rotor, cap etc. aligned. Any help would greatly be appreciated. :?
