Need Advice On Stripped Threads

    One flywheel bolt on my 258, 1/2-20 x 7/8", stripped the threads in the crank. If I drill and tap for the next size bolt, would that be 14mm x 2mm?

    Has anyone done this before?

    I would rather drill and tap than insert a helicoil.

    Should I be ok using the same pressure plate bolts? Or should I look for new bolts?
