Electric Wiper Motor

    The wiper motor on my 1970 CJ5 is original but doesn't work because the brushes are bad. There is no manufacturer's ID information anywhere on it. Does anyone know if and where new brushes can be found?

    I'm not as handy as others but I can take a look at it if you are going to Fulton next weekend. it might come back to life with some sandpaper but there will be a lot of knowledgeable people there. Otherwise there might be a starter / alternator shop near you.

    Brushes are somewhat generic - possibly you could find some that fit or could be fitted with a little modification.
