I have been collecting parts for my next jeep project. I'm thinking an early CJ5 with a odd fire and a t18. I have a few questions about the parts I have and the likely hood of them fitting with out major mods. I would like to keep the patina on the body, but different running gear.

    Heres what I have.
The body that I would like to use came is a late 50's model with the battery box cover on cowling. It is a F head with t90.
I have a factory V6 rolling frame and running gear. There appears to be a complete engine, from carb to manifolds with a T15 or 14 and a large hole Dana 18. It has a dana 27 in front and a two piece 44 in rear. No factory steering box.
I then have two factory T98 5's. One has a SBC in it, the t98 main shaft was swapped to a M715 shaft, it has about a 2.25" spacer between the bell house and the factory t98 adaptor plate. The second is a stock t98 F head CJ5.

Would the v6 and a t98/t18 fit in the engine bay without mods to the grill, I assume the tranny cover would be modified. Is the stock F head radiator enough to cool the Buick? Could I use the factory V6 frame with the earlier body? Or is it better to do after market engine mounts and use the earlier frame?

    Thanks
    Jay
