Steering box

    Would this happen to be a Saginaw box or is it for another application? It is hard to match up from some of the pics I have found in my searches.

    yep. that looks to me to be a CJ mount also.

    yep same one i just installed. looks like the one out the 75 i used. the cj mount looks like one of the later pressed steel mounts.
    as was recommended to me when i was looking, count the input turns lock to lock. about 4 turns is ok. 3 turns is pretty quick for a short wheel base cj. if it's from a waggoneer then it might come out to 3 1/2 turns and might be a variable ratio.

    the 76 stamp on it is an indication of the correct sag. but doesn't tell you the ratio.
