   I removed the driver side axle shaft, put in a new u joint. When I try to put it back in I can't get the last 1 inch or so in. I have turned the axle shaft and tried turning the axle itself. Aay ideas on how to get it back in

   My guess is that it is hanging up on the inner axle seal. Try putting some upward tilt on the shaft while turning it.
