I Have A Really Dumb Question

Gawhhhh, another knuckle pudding thread. This has been ridiculously covered here for more years than I care to count. There is even a sticky thread on this to try and eliminate even more threads on this subject. What’s next, another flat towing thread?

 

I had a guy tell me he messed up his YJ transfer case because he did something wrong while flat towing it... I told him the best way to make sure you don't mess anything up is to just pull the rear driveshaft. He became indignant with me, told me he had never heard of such a ridiculous thing and I had to deal with his scorn.. But his transfer case is all messed up...

 

Sorry. Someone asked about the torqueking product so I was just trying to give some info. I don’t have any idea/opinion what is the better product. Rookie move on my part.

 

No need to apologize. Some people just get sensitive about these topics. I've never shown a picture of the fill hole before.

 

There should be a sticky thread for this topic if everyone could come to a consensus as to what works best. There are a lot of great ideas here and most will probably work just
fine. The same goes for how each individual builds their jeep and black wheels will come back, the same with bell-bottom pants and mullets. Maybe take a vote.
