Anyone know which wheel stud Herm provides with his disc brake kit for the rear flanged 44?? I called him today and he told me a Dorman 610-273, but he was having some technical difficulties with his garage door at the time. I went and grabbed one from the parts store but it just falls in and the splines are past the flange.

RAYBESTOS 0528B is what I used with disc brake swaps.

Had Herm send me another order of wheel studs and they are the same as the ones I had. Also tried the Raybestos ones mentioned above. They also did not work, they were too small in diameter. I had the local parts store pull a factory wheel stud for a 1974 and would work diameter wise but the shoulder is too long and would interfere with the rotor.

took the axle and the rotor to a local old school machine shop/parts store and the old guy who owns the place looked through all his books and couldn’t find one that would work.

I called Herm again this evening and I think I just confused him….. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong here.

Dorman 610-191 cross references with the Raybestos o528b. It shows it is .621 at the knurl.
The holes in my flange are .643.
The studs Herm sent are .604.
The flange is .385 so the shoulder can’t be anymore than that or it will interfere with the rotor.

Look up the Dorman catalog for wheel studs. Look through the catalog for a part number of a stud with the dimensions that will fit your needs. Note the part number of the stud and order them at your FLAPS.

Just went through all 40 pages. Still not seeing one that fits my needs.
    What I need
    Knurl diameter: .673 (factory)
Shoulder length: No more than .385 (flange thickness)

Contact Dorman's technical support and explain your problem. I would think they should have a remedy.
