2002 Jeep Cherokee Uhh, Liberty..

Last year actually, I bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty known as a Jeep Cherokee outside of the US. I thought about importing an actual Cherokee but the price just didnt make sense. 4+k price plus shipping just didnt make sense. the price for a clean XJ in EU was pretty much the price of import + price in the US.
its a 2.5L CRD diesel with the NV3550 5 spd. its acutally been a pretty good truck gets really good fuel economy. I have never been a fan of the Libertys and I do miss my 91 Isuzu Trooper I had before this one but its a lot easier to find parts for this thing then the Isuzu. I only use it when I visit family since its cheaper to own then rent a long term vehicle. Honestly I cant complain with the this jeep, easy to park, ac works, so far really reliable, easy to find parts, I dont worry about it getting scratched or stolen (big issue in eastern Europe).

 

Have fun over there. I loved my time in Romania. I found Eastern Europe a better fit for me than Western Europe.
