72 Firewall Vin Tag-need A Picture.

I finally got White Lightning back together after a 14 month rebuild and can't find the firewall vin tag. I need to get one made. I have a 71 CJ5 but not sure if AMC changed the style of the plate. I know they changed the actual numbering style.
If someone with a 72 would post a picture I'd sure appreciate it. You can cover the ending numbers if you want.

I found lots of pictures of the dash sticker naturally since I don't need it!

 

My ‘72 has a plain metal tag with the VIN stamped into it. If there are any other printed words/logos on it, they’re painted over. The tag is screwed to the firewall.

My guess is that it’s a replica - and badly done. The vehicle features match the VIN, and I have the title, so I guess it’s legitimate…

I, too would like to have a more correct tag, so if you find a source, please post it here!

AMC era Jeeps have a very different serial tag from the Kaiser Jeeps, just similar in size. I haven’t sent off yet to get a duplicate tag from Dateplates for U

The one I need is for a 72. Which would be early AMC.
I also have an original 71 renegade II . here's a picture of it.

 

Dataplates4U has this style. If no one posts an actual picture of a72 I guess I'll go with this style.

Still hoping someone with a 72 will post a picture or confirm it's the same as a 71.

It looks identical to the tag on my original paint '71, although mine is riveted and that one has screws:

Makes me wonder about the use of screws then going to rivets. Then the 72 has screws again.
Maybe they ran out of rivets. Or found another box of screws and decided to not waste them!
Anyway thanks. I'll get one of these coming.

 

I ordered 1from Dataplates4U. 4 to 6 week lead time.
I'm having him stamp it for me. I'll post when I get it.
Probably find the old one a week after I get it!
