First put the bolts you removed from the transfer case/trans connection back in and close up the gap, if it will not close up do not force it. then remove the 5 bolts that hold the PTO to the transfer case and remove the PTO. Then look inside and remove the transfer case drive gear and nut. then re remove the 5 transfer case to trans bolts and slide the cases apart. all the while you hold the rear main trans shaft in place to make sure it does not slide to the rear with your transfer case as you separate the cases.

Once it is off, secure the transmission mainshaft.
I usually use a crescent wrench.
Throw washer on a bolt and run the bolt through the hole in the handle.
Thread the bolt into one of the transmission casing holes so the wrench is hanging off the bolt.
Let the wrench fall across the output bearing and lightly tighten the bolt so the wrench holds the bearing in the casing.

Looks like the question is covered but justv a friendly FYI the T-90 is typically in an early CJ5 on the 134ci 4cyl.
The earlys may also have the buick 225 or Perkins diesel while intermediates got the straight 6 or v8.
We are currently in the intermediate section. Where things are changing into AMC's Era with open knuckle front axles, Dana 20 transfercase, and centered rear axles.

You might have an early with the wrong data on the paperwork.
