Sm420 Front Bearing Retainer Oil Leak And Seal Replacement

    I have an SM420 in my CJ6. Oil was dripping from the bell housing and the advice I got was that the rear main seal was leaking. After some testing of the drips I determined that it was really transmission oil that was leaking. I pulled the transmission and found the oil seal had failed.

    I replaced the seal with a new one.
