    Hi what is the thickness of a 1968 CJ5 body? I have some repairs I need to do to mine and what to get as close to the same as I can for thickness

    .046” is generally what I’ve found. Some spots are .050”

    18 gauge is what you’ll want.

    I've just made stuff out of 16 gauge because that's usually what I have.
