Commando Half Cab Roof Basket

I’m restoring a 68 half cab pickup, and I’ve seen photos of a roof basket that seems to mount to the drip rails that fits really well. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to locate the source…
Does anyone know where I might acquire one?

I'm not sure there ever was a stock roof rack for a half cab. Maybe after market?

 

Maybe one of those cargo baskets that fit in a receiver hitch? Cut the hitch part off and get some roof rail attachments.

 

Con Ferr may have made a basket that fit back in the day.
Lots of universal options out there I'm sure if you search the net.
Overlanding has brought some designs back.

try google and drip rail roof rack or gutter rail roof rack. A lot of ladders racks are made for commercial vans which still use a gutter rail. Thule and Yakima make attachments that can be used for there various racks.
