Super Wagoneer

My parents always went for the wood grain on the Wagoneers and the Chrysler Mini vans.
We always joked there is fair, Good, Mint, and then there is "John and Clara" condition. They kept every record of every maintenance down to the penny, and their vehicles were like new condition always. They could always fit things back into the original box. When they traded in their 1989 Grand Wagoneer, the sales manager took it home, it never made it to the lot.

The 66 Wagoneer rusted out and was replaced by a 77 Chevy Blazer. It had a 4 speed with granny low and lock out hubs. It got 16 mpg and the ones that were full time 4-wheel drive got about 6. The 89 Wagoneer replaced the 77 Blazer. As soon as he bought it, he took it to Norfolk Va and had it Ziebart rust proofed. My dad offered the Blazer to me, and I told him I had enough projects, "Go ahead and sell it". I still kick myself for that. It was so nice I am sure I would still be driving it now. I repainted it on military base at the hobby shops. The service manager at the Jeep dealership bought it from them when they bought the Wagoneer. Sure miss those vehicles but you can't keep them all or I would have to have a warehouse.

Interesting. I looked long and hard for a 4bbl intake to put on my 327 and all I found was that the 4bbl intake was offered on the earlier Ramblers. My truck has a 4bbl intake and driver side exhaust manifold from a Rambler. This wagoneer looks like it has a 2bbl Holley doesn't it? That would've been the factory offering.
