I like this one a lot, V6, PS, OD and a Detroit locker.
Presumably the 7.88 gears is a typo!

I'd sure like to drive an early CJ with a Detroit Locker. I wonder how squirrelly it gets during locking.

I'm not sure I agree with this statement as I overhauled my D18 with Novak parts and it whines exactly the same as it did prior to rebuild. It's just a characteristic of a side-drive design.
Transfer case was rebuilt with Novac gears and does not whine.

 

Interesting how the vents were installed. Newer Jeep logo embossing added below the vents. I would wheel it.

Is that a ‘75 or so intermediate tub with that font and the low location, or at least the lower cowl section? I can’t tell if there is an intermediate louver vent ahead of the windshield. The vent is not the rectangular shape that the postal used. What is it from?
Looks like a nice example.

It looks to be that the lower section was grafted on. Windshield washer nozzle on the top of cowl. Correct heater location.
