Novak's is likely to be the best kit available but I have no experience with it. Keep in mind, if you are going to use the 305, you will want the longer 2 5/8" adapter and that requires the longer input shaft of a T90J that was used with the six cylinder engines. I would source a good original used version rather than the crap replacements that are on today's market.

 

Vintage Jeeper offers a rebuild kit, and I am confident it is high quality.

Getting ready to rebuild one myself, and will be buying parts from "Vintage Jeeper" for the job. Sal also sells a dummy shaft for preloading the roller bearings with is made of some kind of hard plastic. This works very well, and I think much better than the wooden dowels I have used for this in the past.

 

Thanks everyone for the mention, One of my good friends at Crown forwarded this thread about my T90 master rebuild kit . A little back ground, Ive been doing T90's for over 10yrs and have used many kits, all that which have a little quirks, so I decided to put together my own kit so dyi guys can do a satisfactory job. For starters the mainshaft for the cluster gears gets Rockwell hardness tested and will be marked on the shaft , they need to be 50+ to meet my expectations, Its comes with my top cover rebuild kit with directions on how to get more through out of second gear. I also supply this top cover kit to Kaiser. I include a sealed front bearing and a NOS synchronizer hub assembly along with a second gear . Theres is an options in another listing for a Timken Sealed rear bearing .It comes with everything needed to seal the front bearing retainer as mentioned on the website. I finally nailed down what a complete kit should come with. For those looking for gears , I recently purchased a number of nos gears still in cosmoline and new gears when rebuilding customer transmissions and will always be Rockwell tested and dial indicated to ensure they are up to par. If anyone has questions as many of you know I'm always open to tech calls and questions. On a side note , Below is a link to the kit.

Sal, welcome aboard! do you have, or would you be able to compile similar kits for the dana 25 and 19 spline 44. I see all the upgrade kits but I just need the basic service kit of bearings, gaskets, seals, shims and ring gear bolts. Maybe even have an option for the crossdrilled ring gear bolts metalshaper recommends in his videos.
