Does anyone here run this company's suspension??? I'm sure it's made by a bigger company, but I don't know who. Four wheel parts wholesalers are having a pretty good sale on everything including lifts. I'm looking at their 2.5 inch lift and wondering about ride characteristics. Anything has to be better than the stockers I have. Pretty sure I have 9 leaves in front. I'm not going outside to check though. Heat index is like 110, and I'm in Iowa, not Arizona!!!

    Any help would be great.

I also talked to 4wheelparts about that lift and was told that it is the exact same springs as the Pro Comp lift the only difference is the shocks. The General Suspension comes with ES1000s and generic hardware and the Pro Comp lift comes with ES3000s and Pro Comp hardware. I don't know about the General hardware but the Pro Comp came with rear axle 2 degree shims to fix the pinion angle, I'm not sure the other kit comes with those.

So far the ride is fine, not to stiff. haven't been offroading yet, but thats what sunday is for!

Thanks for the reply. What size lift did you go with??? What drivetrain do you run?? I think my biggest hurdle will be the driveshaft angle in the rear. If this kit doesn't come with shims, I will be buying some. Plus, I think I will do the tranny drop as well. I am hoping I don't need a new rear CV shaft. With the 258 combo I am running, I know it will be close.

Do you have any pics of your ride???

I got the 2.5 Pro Comp, I only have pics with the stock tires on it still, I haven't even orderd the new ones yet.

The kit I got had 2 degree shims. So far with the stock Model 20, and t-15 tranny and the stock driveshaft so far no problems, but with your T-18 you might have more issues.

I'll post a picture in a bit, I have to find my digital first. What size tires are you planning on running on yours?

I'm going to stick with what I have on there now, 33's. I haven't done much wheeling with it, but that will change. I know I need more lift with these tires, but I haven't had any problems yet. I think it has to do with the stiffness of the stock springs. No flex, no rubbing :D
I would really like to see a pic of your rig, when you find your camera. Speaking of, I don't think I have any pics of mine on here either. I better get'r washed and take some pics.

    Thanks
