would anyone recamend this and how do they work or install the shifter on mine is broken and i need to weld it i thought this might be a better fix than just rewelding the stock one

is the price good for what it is and im confused on how he says to install it.

("To get full use you need to pull the shift rail pills from the tranfercase. after pulling the pills you can get")???? huh ?

The benefit is you get 2wd low out of it also without having to unlock the hubs. Can come in handy in tight turns but that's about it.. I converted my 18 to twin stick but they came stock that way in the early cases so it was no big deal. Never seen it done to a 20. It SHOULD be a pretty easy swap but i have not seen it done..

shift rail pills = detent pills. These make sure you don't shift one axle into high and the other one into low. You do not have to remove them to use a twin stick. But, If you don't, you will not be able to use the front axle while the rear is in neutral.

To remove those pills you have to tear the t-case down completely. So you might as well buy a rebuild kit and replace all the bearings while you have it apart.

As for the kit you linked to, that is much nicer then the one I paid $90 a few years ago. Worth the money in my opinion unless you can fabricate your own.

ok so other than the pills its just a direct bolt in i probely wont take it apart... unless i really want to break it so ill just put in these twin sticks as a direct bolt in and hopefully away i will go with little problems my other origional stick is kinda broken i could weld it but i think this would be a better fix... what will the twin stick give me that the regular lever wont with out removeing them pills

2 wheel low range. You can put the rear axle in low range and leave the front in neutral. Great when you are going down long steep twisty trails where you dont really need 4wd but do need the engine braking.

This way. If you ever do get around to rebuilding the T-case at a later date, you can remove the pills and fully utilize the twin stick.

Also you may get lucky... The pills may be worn enough that you can fully utilize the twin stick without tearing the t-case apart. I have heard of this happening from several people.
