225 or 231?

    What is the quick way to tell the difference between a 225 and a 231?
    I can't find the firing order casted on one.

    Firing order is the same.

    Casting # is the quickest way to be certain.

    Or if you can peek inside the valve cover through the filler cap, 225's have cast rocker arms where as 231's have stamped ones.
