Baby John was doing the valve cover decals.

The badges are best repainted - you'd have a hard time finding another set and eBay has driven the prices through the roof.

Take a trip down to your local model shop, and pick up some Testors paint - the simple red/white/black/gold will do.

:v6: Working on the badges today  oh! Imean the wife is  :v6:  :v6:  They are a little weathered, and might be a little faded. But after a good cleaning and some t.l.c. I think they will be ok as is. I think that might be better than re-painting :?: what do you guys think :v6:  :v6:  8)

I'd still recommend repainting. The red especially tends to fade and look orange. They really pop when freshly painted. Not too hard to do either.

A+ Signs has the decals for the paper air filter as well as the valve covers. At one time I had a pretty large order where I just asked people to send me a self adressed stamped envelope and the cash, but now I've got the printer where he will just accept a phone call and credit card and he'll mail them to you. The cost of these may be more than the original charge due to his handling fee. You can work out your own deal with him.

Here's his information, and maybe someone else who ordered some through me could vouch for him. I've had no problem except with the valve cover decals. I tried to apply them to the valve cover at the top so that the decal rolled over the top. The top portion won't stick when the glue heats up. Just apply the decal to the flat surface. The guy at the print shop won't be able to tell you much about the decal, because he just created what we sent him.

He also had the decal that reads "4 Wheel Drive" that goes on the tailgate.
and a VIN decal that goes on the dash.

had good luck with my stickers on the valve covers and the chrome air filter. I moved the stickers down on the cover to avoid the curve.
