    I have a 1968 Jeep Cj-5 with the F-134 engine.

The pipe has came completely off of the exaust manifold. What is the best way to re-attach this? I have a MIG welder, but should it be welded?

I'm sorry, my specialty is duck hunting...

    Thank ya'll,

It sounds like the exhaust tubing has come loose from the flange that bolts to the manifold. If that's the case, take the flange loose and reweld it to the exhuast tubing, then bolt it back together.

I would think that only heartache/headache would come from welding the tubing directly to the manifold.......

Thank you Old Bill. I took your advice and fixed it yesterday. It was relatively quick and painless... and I don't sound like an old "pulp wood" truck anymore.

    Thank you,
