transfer case leak...again

    It's not leaking again, I'm waiting for seals. But in the mean time I found the pto is lubed by the transfer case and has a low spot that holds oil, or water in my case, that needs to be drained. Is the easiest way to pull the rear coupling and remove the back cover? Also has anyone considered drilling a drain hole in the bottom of the casing and tapping it for a plug?

    I always split the case. A drain hole would be helpful, though.
