Looks like a 1966 CJ-6A born in March of that year, that is if I read the list right...

Not very many of those made.

if the serial number tag is original to the jeep it should be a 66 cj6a like someone said earlier.

They made 459 of them in total for all years.

so far, only ten have been accounted for. Three of those were scrapped.

I came across serial number 335 - it is in California. I have serial number(s) 007 and 181 in my barn full of jeep stuff.

Are the 10 you have accounted for all years, or just '66's?

#335 is the one sitting in my driveway (and in my avatar). We bought it in Sacramento and towed it down here to SoCal. It doesn't look exactly like that anymore, but we haven't gotten around to shooting new pix.

The ten that I know of are for all years. I have two of them, but 181 is scrap. Another is in a junkyard in Georgia, and yet another in missouri has been on ebay a few times with no takers.

Serial number 007 is the oldest one that I have found; I towed it back from New Jersey a year or so ago. 007 is in decent shape, but the body tub from 181 is going on it as soon as I get the time to work on the tub.

A couple of the remaining 7 cj6A's are in outstanding condition - there was one in Montana that looked like it sauntered off of the showroom floor this morning.

There is / was one on an island off of Seattle that was in nice shape.

I know where there was one in Stillwater that was pretty beat up and sold with the gas station that it was parked at. What happened to it after that I don't know...

The jeep is at D&L Four wheel drive in Zebulon Georgia. It is in his junkyard in the woods. D&L is the guy that has those fiberglass jeep bodies on ebay for 600 bucks.

Don Snowden is the fellow's name.

Not in good shape at all

serial tag is still on it.

No title that I know of.

Georgia doesn't require title for vehicles over 15 years old! The bill of sale is all the state needs.
