Me again folks. I am having all sorts of wiring issues under the hood. So I have decided I am going to rebuild the underhood harness and route it the way it was originally routed. I am wondering if there is anyone out there who would have pictures of the underhood of a 74 cj5 in stock form. I want to see exactly what path the wiring harness takes once it leaves the grommit from under the dash to the destinations under the hood. I am sorry I have been such a pain in the butt lately but I really want to have this Jeep ready for the winter.

If it would be of help I could mail you a copy of that page that is in the 74 parts book. PM me your mailing address. Cam
PS. While I am at it do you need any other copies, such as the carb stove etc.

Does your 74 have the motorola alternator and voltage regulator, ford solenoid and starter?

I believe the alternator is the stock one. It has the separate voltage regulator, and the ford starter/solenoid.

I've got a bit of the flu but I will try and get out to take a few pictures for you today or tomorrow. Sounds like you have the same setup as mine. The only difference may be I have a painless wiring harness in mine and it may wire a little differently.

Thanks alot I really appreciate it. The big thing is that I would like to see how you routed it. Being sick over the holiday sucks. Hope you feel better.
