Engine cleaning

    For what its worth I just used oven cleaner and my pressure washer to clean my engine and it came out nice. the oven cleaner even took off half of the original paint. dried ready to paint:p :p

    Never thought of using oven cleaner....makes sense.

    If you want EVERYTHING to come off oven cleaner works well. I've used it.

    I used some simple green and a parts brush when i cleaned my enige, wasnt 100% perfect but it got the job done.

    Oven cleaner is mostly LYE. :shock: Use gloves & eye protection folks!

    It does the job nicely though, especially on a warm engine.... ;)
