Dana 25/27 U-Bolt Part Numbers

    Posting for future reference.

    Dana 25/27 Leaf Spring U-Bolt Part Numbers

    Dorman 35602
    7/16" Thread
    6 1/2" Overall Length
    2 1/2" Inside Width
    Qty 3 Required

    Dorman 35617
    1/2" Thread
    7" Overall Length
    2 7/8" Inside Width
    Qty 1 Required

    As an added benefit both part numbers are plated and made in the USA. My install was on a Dana 27 with stock springs. Dana 25 should be fine as well. No spring plate modification was required.

    the one wide ubolt that goes over the housing should have been 7/16 diam also
    couldn't find one ?

    On the original set I picked up, the wide U-bolt was 7/16". The FLAPS counterguy only could find it in 1/2", but it fit just fine. Didn't even have to clearance the spring plate holes.

    I need to get under the Jeep tonight and cut off the excess thread.
