    Hey Guys,
I'm replacing the tie rod ends on my cj5 and I cant find anyone who sells the pass inner TRE. Its the one with the tapered bolt, then the hole for another TRE and then the treads for the tie rod. Kindof looks like this -> ==o=! I've gone to aobut 5 auto parts stores and all they have is the smaller TREs. Why would they sell 3 out of 4 tie rods needed to replace the set. :? The other ones I got fit great. Does anyone know where I can get the TRE I need so I can finnally get it on the road?

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

make sure it's not specific to 4 cyl models. I have no idea myself.

Also check thread size also, you might have a heavy duty setup off a M38A1.

I just ordered one from turner4wd company. Took about 2 days to get shipped to me in southern Va. Check out their website at www.thejeep.com Part # is 640178, but it lists it as a 4cyl part. They were the cheapest I could find.

Here's the link to the exact page http://www.thejeep.com/onlinecatalog/p116.htm
