I want to replace the generator on my cj3 with a new atlernator. The car is already wired for a one wire alternator and is converted to 12 volts. I think can go to an auto parts store and get an alternator that will bolt-up in the original brackets. I don't know what to do about a new pully however. Will I be able to order or buy a pully from the store?

There are a couple places where alternator kits can be bought. I bought one from Willys Works and it included a pully.

When I switched mine over to Alt. I just removed the pully off of the Gen. and put it on the Alt. You will need to put a spacer between the Alt housing and the pully to keep it from rubbing:)
