colors for JYD

i have been looking at paint colors and really like gray. but not just any charcoal, something different. i found this web site that has gun metal gray metallic (GMGM) and has a pic of a car thats been painted GMGM fading to gloss black and it looks TOUGH!.

there are a few cars that cycle through (10th car in), so give it a sec and you will see the fade job on a ford probe. check out the front of it and tell me what you think an entire cj would look like painted like a renegade in GMGM with black stripes and lettering? it would match my black bikini top, black mirrors, black undercarriage etc.
i think it would look suweeEEeet, but i am seeking other opinions. if you dont like gray, please specify that, dont just say i cant stand it.

seems to me black would be an unusual paint choice for a hot, sunshine state.

Are you talking about a fade job? IMHO if you scratch the fade it will be very hard to match. But to be honest I don't know much about paint.
That probe does look good, the fade makes it look longer.

 

no, no fade job. the color on the front of that probe was gun metal gray metallic, i wanna put that on the whole jeep. i am thinking about striping it with black renegade stripes on the hood. but the jeep will be gray with gray interior and rims.

Kind of hard for me to tell much about the color from that picture. The grey and black scheme does sound kind of cool though. 8)
