I amaze even myself with dumb questions sometimes, but...
Would a '74 CJ come stock with bump stocks for suspension travel? I'm lifted 4" with a Skyjacker lift, but I'm still slicing up my tires on the rear passenger side and can't figure why. It's by far the softest suspension I've ever run, but I wouldn't think it's soft enough to flex that far in.
Anyway, my other projects have been newer, and have bump stops to limit the up-travel.
    Help me out? Thanks

    Yes!
But you are suppose to install new extended bumpstops to account for some of the lift when you put it on, something the suspension companies don't really tell ya.

You can easily stuff the tires all the way to the top of the fenderwell. So you either need to do some clearancing or get some extended bump stops.

Well, I guess the only thing dumber than not noticing that earlier would have been not asking. Thanks.

Can anyone give me an idea of the size of stock bump stops?

They were held on with 2 bolts. Offhand, without going out to look I would guess that they are about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch rubber with a metal backing to bolt to the frame.
