what 11" brake parts do I need off a DJ5?

    To plug the holes in mine, I used a 3/8 x 1 bolt with washer on each side and a nylon insert lock nut inside. RTV sealant on everything for good measure.

    I notice the hole pattern on the rears are different, the top hole is missing. I'm assuming I can just punch a couple new holes and go for it? I'm also going to poke around for some rubber plugs. If I find some I'll grab a couple handfuls to share.

    Ron, assuming you have the tapered axles I think you'll also need the 7th hole (center bottom) for the rears, this is where excess grease from the wheel bearings escapes when you pump new stuff in. With out it the old grease pushes past the seals & does the nasty to your brakes :(.

    Thanks Howard! I'll have to file that tidbit of info away...don't want no nasties going on with my brakes! I know diddly about my axles, other than they're stock '56 D44 and D25. Tapered, flanged, I wouldn't know the difference if I dropped it on my foot. I'll figure it out when I take the suckers apart, though.
