Well I managed to pull the main shaft and input shaft apart and lost the rollers. Is there any way to re stack them without lowering the intermeadiate shaft? Maybe like tapping the rear bearing adapter out and lifting the mainshaft up and out?

The rollers go in the end of the input shaft. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking since you obviously got it apart far enough for them to drop out. The counter shaft has about 4 times as many rollers, and smaller too. If you remove that you're in for a lot of fun. Or are you going to disassemble you're transmission totally? Doesn't sound like that's your plan but just wondering.

I got them back in. I didn't want to drop any dirt back in after the rebuild so I took the tie wire off and set the shifter on, BAD IDEA #1, then I decided to test fit the transfer case without the gasket to make sure it would fit up ok, BAD IDEA #2, but when I slid the xfer back off to install the gasket it pulled the mainshaft back just far enough:mad: I've really got to work on getting all my stupid mistakes out at work before I come homeR) But it's together now and I can put it in the JEEP tommorrow.

IIRC, if you have all the rollers, the last one has to slide in from the end. Kind of like the keystone in an arch.
