    Yes I've searched....

Has anyone pegged down a part number for a Disk/drum master cylinder with the outlets on the right hand side? This one from Napa is for a 78 with disk front and 11" drum rears, but the outlets are on the left side. Obviously when mounted under the floor they would run into the frame rail. I know it was talked about before, but I haven't been able to find a part number. Did anyone ever find it? Thanks
    This is for a CJ,

This one is for a '68 vette.

I have the stock MC for my 71 cj5 on my disk/drum setup, it seems to work fine, has been on there for a year now. The 68 vette MC seems to be a myth as all of them exit on the wrong sdie to be used under the floor.

I'm only going by the picture Napa has on their website. Did you have to remove/replace residual valves in your '71 MC? Thanks Mike

When I bought my replacement the residual valves were not in the MC. I had minor problems for several years as I did not know about the RPV. When I got around to doing my dana 30 with disks I finally found out there were no RPV's in the MC. I used the Wilwood units.

Have you tried looking at MP1 Brakes ? They have a right handed port disc/drum MC, $$$ but they got it.

    Catalog is downloadable here-

Let me look through my receipts when I get home in the AM Brannon. I'm almost certain that I used a MC from a '78-'86 CJ with manual brakes and it had the ports on the passenger side where you need them. I'll try to get you the Wagner part number too, so you can cross-reference it if need be. The MC I used also had the RPVs that were easily rmovable by unscrewing the fitting in the MC and simply removing the valve parts. Here is a not-very-good pic of it:

Got it! Krage PN# 945556 is for a 67-71 CJ with manual brakes.

When I bought mine back in '02 it was $74.95, but now they're $102.95

Even RockAuto.com wants $114 bux for one nowadays, but at least it fits & works with a minimum of hassle.

Here is part # that I used, M56193 ordered it from
    http://www.partsamerica.com/

The box it came in had other manufactures replacement cylinders listed,

    CARDONE 10-1292
    RAYBESTOS MC36237
    BENDIX 11373
    WAGNER F56193

    The one I purchased was a TRU-TORQUE M56193. It was about $37.00.
    Works great, front disk-rear drum......

mikieboy, did you have to use additional residual proportioning valves? Is yours mounted under the floorboard or on the dash? Thanks for the gouge by the way.

m38willys...yes I used additional external proportioning valves. 2 lb for the front, 10 lb for the rear. Cylinder is mounted under floor. Some cylinders come with valves in the master cylinder. These need to be removed and external inline ones added.

Go with the one from Herm the Overdrive Guy. He has them with or without the check valves in the MC. 2 lb. check are available from Summit Racing. They're made by Wilwood. Summit is the cheapest I found.
