stupid tranny question

    i see letters following the t 90 onsome trannys (i.e. t 90a:t 90c). What's the diff?:?

    tooth count on gears
    4 cyl or 6 cyl trans
    top shift or side shift
    etc

    ok... i noticed you (jpflat2a) have a 225 t90 combo is it just the bell housing thats dffrnt or do onlycertain t90s mate wv6? (it says t90a-6 on my bearing retainer) too much grime still to see any #s on case

    Need a long input shaft to mate to a V6.

    Bellhousings move from T90 to T90 if I understand you correctly.

    ok so does the fact that my t90 is mated with a f 134 mean i have a short input shaft?:rofl: if so can i change to a long input shaft, use a :v6: bell hsing, and that's it?
