Cap Question

    My regular dist has numbers on top of the cap. Where is Number 1 plug on my HEI cap? Does it matter which way the cap goes on? Universal plug connections? :?

    Sorry if this is a dumb question. :rofl:

    I have mine set up on the terminal right next to the B+ in your pic. the dist is situated so #1 is at about the 10:30 position when viewed from the driver's fender

    Harry, the position on the cap matters less than where the rotor points and where your vacuum advance unit is.

    That pretty much determines where to put #1 in my experience. Long as you know where the rotor is pointing at #1 when it's at TDC...
