Woohooo I Fixed It!

After much debate on what you guys said about fixing that stripped out FP bolt correctly, I went and did it. Thanks Mcruff, you was right on fix it right the 1st time or you're gonna regret it. I could almost turn that bolt that I "fixed" yesterday by fingers in or out. I rigged up a shop back reduced into a 3/8 fuel line that I used to clean the hole out. Also stuck some silly putty inside the timing cover to catch any loose material. The handles that came with my kit I could not use because the block was in the way so I used a 1/4 in driver on a 11/32 socket to drive the tap. Well, it took me about an hour to tap that both holes one size bigger. Inside bolt hole was a PITA because I'd tap 1/4 inch at a time, backout tap, suck hole, repeat. Minimal material if any, went into the cover.

All in all, I'm glad I did it. It's fix properly now and I can torque FP bolts t specs. I IS A TAPPING EXPERT! R)
