Hey guys- I scored a set of backing plates complete w/ all the guts in my local area. Cylinders appear to have no leaks and the shoes, springs and misc hardware look ok. Question is should I just replace everything w/ new parts before I install it? I'm going to B blast the backing plates and paint them anyways.

Figured while it's all out better to be safe than sorry. Cheap insurance if you will. Sry if I answered my own questions but I do value your opnions whenever I spend my money. :D

    Input's greatly appreciated...

    TIA

X2. Better to do it now than have to dive back into it.
