Need front bumper ideas

Hello all

In the near future, I plan to build myself a new front bumper. The factory C channel was rewelded at some point, and since I would like to be more serious off-roading, I want something I can rely on.

My initial plan is a stock width bumper, made of a 2 x 4 (approx.) tubing, with the tip of the tubing closed with welded plate. I want a way to mount shackles and tow-hooks.

Lets see your front bumper, and I need your ideas as for other ``nice to have``, like fog lights, winch plates, etc

Hello, I had a metal shop bend me up a bumper out of 1/4 inch steel plate to the same dimensions of a stock bumper. It fits the frame horns exactly and looks stock but is nice and strong. It was cheap to do and I think they charged me less than $40.00, then I drilled the mounting holes in the stock locations, looks good.
