I am going to rebuild the :v6: in my 70. Did you guys go to a FLAPS for the parts or is there a vendor that offers better or better priced parts?

Autozone seems to have the best price there. I got mine for $415. incl tax: pistons, piston pins, pistons rings, all bearings, all gaskets, new cam+ lifters, timing set, expansion plugs(although my cam plug was wrong size). Basically everything you need for the motor.

went to carquest for the top end and the guy who did the machining for the other parts. Probably cost me more that way, but wasn't one big chunk all at once. pretty much all the parts where Federal Moguel. Thats all they could find. Working on putting the parts in next week...
