Trying to figure out the best place that is easy to access. Would like to stay away from the engine compartment. Has anybody mounted it in the glovebox?

The PO of my JEEP had the fuse panel installed in the engine compartment. I am going to move it. As of now I have a lot of corrosion in my fuse panel. You can mount it anywhere you like really, just depends on what you want and where it will fit.

Jason - the wiring looks good and tidy at least, better that than messy and corroded.

Yeah it could definately be worse. It's like a lot of things on this JEEP done by the PO (half arsed). I plan on replacing it this winter along with whatever else my budget will allow.R)

Mine is currently located where the parking brake should be. I plan on relocating it, along with some radio stuff into the storage under the passenger seat. I don't use it for anything else.

I would just stick it somewhere up under the dash on the firewall. Once installed you shouldn't have to get to it often. Storage box might not be a good idea since they tend to rust out in the bottom. And if it doesn't rust out, eventually you will want to put something in it. Just my $0.02.

You could put it with mine in the brown box in the attic. :(
